The Knape & Vogt 96 in. 255 Series Aluminum Mortise-Mount Pilaster Standard is a heavy-duty standard ideal for built-in shelving, closets, entertainment centers, kitchen and medicine cabinets, bookcases, and within window frames. The 255 Series standard can be installed on the surface, or mounted flush with the wall or cabinet by making a dado cut. The 17-gauge aluminum standard features 1/2 in. vertical slot adjustability, and pre-drilled and countersunk nail, screw, and staple holes. Numbered slots provide quick, accurate shelf clip insertion, and color-coordinated shelf clips add a finished look to custom projects. Clips provide stable support for a variety of shelf options, including wood, plywood, particle board, glass, wire, or metal. System holds up to 500 lbs. per shelf when properly installed. Standard is BHMA Grade 1 compliant and features a long-lasting, corrosion-resistant natural aluminum finish. Shelf clips sold separately.- Attributes
